A rare and exotic beauty with an appeal that’s as diverse as her talents.

Unforgettable Woman

When she was just 11, Milla Jovovich starred in Revlon’s ‘Most Unforgettable Women in the World’ advertisements. She has since gone on to grace over one hundred magazine covers, including Seventeen, Mademoiselle, Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, and InStyle.

Best Young Actress

She nominated for the “Best Young Actress Starring in a Motion Picture” in the 1991 Young Artist Awards for her role in Return to the Blue Lagoon. But her breakout role was as Leeloo, the perfect being in Luc Besson’s The Fifth Element.

Resident Evil

Perhaps Milla’s most successful role was as Alice in the Resident Evil franchise. Alice is the film’s heroine who fights a legion of zombies created by the evil Umbrella Corporation. The first film was so commercially successful that Milla has then reprised the role in four sequels, all in the apocalyptic fiction action horror genre.

In 1994, Milla Jovovich released her critically acclaimed folk album, The Divine Comedy. The album contained traditional Ukrainian folk songs that Milla sings in her native tongue. She has also contributed tracks to several of her film soundtracks, including The Million Dollar Hotel and Dummy.

Her song “The Gentlemen Who Fell” featured on The Rules of Attraction soundtrack in 2002. In 2001, Jovovich was one of many celebrities whose vocals featured in a cover of “We are Family” to raise money for the American Red Cross.

Milla Jovovich and fellow model Carmen Hawk launched a line of clothing called Jovovich-Hawk in 2003. Vogue magazine praised the line for its “girl-about-town cult status most designers spend years trying to achieve.”

In November 2006, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and US Vogue nominated Jovovich-Hawk for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award.
